At Debregenet Medhanealem Tigrayan Orthodox Tewahedo Church, we offer a variety of programs and ministries that are designed to help people grow in their faith.
At Debregenet Medhanealem Tigrayan Orthodox Tewahedo Church, we offer a variety of worship services and activities for all ages. Our services are conducted in the ancient liturgical language of Ge’ez, and we also offer English translations for those who may not understand Ge’ez.
In addition to our regular worship services, we also have a variety of programs and ministries, including Sunday School for children, and Bible studies for adults. Here are just a few of the services that we offer:
Prayers
We offer a variety of prayers and services throughout the year, including daily prayers, special feast day services, and prayer services for specific needs and intentions. Our services are conducted in Ge’ez, the ancient liturgical language of our church, and are deeply rooted in the Orthodox tradition.
Christening
We offer Christening services for infants and young children, where they are welcomed into the church and baptized in the name of the Holy Trinity. Our Christening services are conducted in accordance with the Orthodox tradition and are designed to be a joyful celebration of new life and new beginnings.
Wedding
We offer wedding services for couples who wish to be married in the Orthodox tradition. Our wedding services are conducted in accordance with the ancient rites and rituals of the church, and are designed to be a solemn and sacred celebration of the union between two people.
Funeral
We offer funeral services for those who have passed away, and provide comfort and solace to their loved ones during this difficult time. Our funeral services are conducted in accordance with the Orthodox tradition, and are designed to honor the memory of the deceased and offer hope and comfort to those who mourn.

We offer appointment and request services for those who need to speak with a priest, receive a blessing, or seek guidance and support. Our priests are always available to offer spiritual support and guidance to those in need.
